Sunset Karimun Jawa
Me on Karimun Jawa!
So glad that i am able to come back to this island again. And pretty shocked to see lots of differences on this island than 4 years ago. More people and crowded with lots of shops around.
Nevertheless it will never be a disappointment to come this place again. The clearest blue water i’ve ever seen!
And the place where i start to love being underwater more than ever :)
Karimun Jawa Menjangan Besar Island
Yes, that water is clearly BLUE
*So sorry for posting this too long!! Finally have time to take care of this! :)

Karimun Jawa New Year’s Eve!
Happy New Year all!! 2013 is going to be great yeah!
Been a while since i updated this blog! But here i am, just got back from a trip again.
Karimun Jawa. The first backpacking i did 3 years ago, when i just quit from my previous job and had an urge to do something stupid. I sign up for the bus and went to Jepara with my sister only. Without any acknowledgement of that place, i thought “What the hell is Karimun Jawa? Just beach right?”
After those long sleep on the bus to Jepara and those seasickness during the ship trip to Karimun Jawa. I decided to myself that i wont ever come back to this island again. I feel like is it really worthed that i took this trip?
Turn out, the answer is… YES.
The great beautiful scenery of Karimun Jawa island, convinced me 3 years ago, to become a backpacker, to explore the beauty of Indonesia islands, and the important one, i fell so hard to the underwater scenery that i really want to be a diver.
So yes the last days of 2012 i spent the new year’s eve came back again to this beautiful island! Some of my friends even ask, “Why do u want to go there again?” Even my sister dont want to go again. And i just answered, “Revenge.”
Back then i was this lost girl, going out there alone, far from home, scared of that big ocean and the very first time i got introduced to snorkeling with that life jacket and those snorkel tools. So last week, i got my revenge (a lot), i snorkel and dive for 2 days in a row. Captured many beautiful corals and fishes pictures (Will upload them later)
And i satisfied. Soooo much.
For record. I really do recommend this island to be your destination if u ever go to Java.
Yes, the road is long, the ship is slow, and the food is standard, but seriously. The cost of this trip, i consider it so much worthed than any beaches you’ll go in Java. You just need to be patience. I promise you. It will be a great time to spend there in your vacation time! I think you will see beach and ocean so much different after you got back from this place.
Will i go there again? If the island calls me again, i would :)
